Macedonian and Yugoslav actor Meto Jovanovski died today at the age of 77, Serbian Radio and Television reported.
Jovanovski was born in 1946 in Pančarev, and graduated from the Theater Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria.
He started his career at the National Theater in Štip, near the end of his studies, and continued at the Drama Theater in Skopje.
He soon became one of the leading drama artists in the Socialist Republic of Macedonia and the former Yugoslavia.
For his achievements in film, television and theater, he received numerous awards and state recognitions, including "St.
