Zuhair Murad (Arabic: زهير مراد) is a Lebanese fashion designer and stylist, born in Ras Baalbek, Lebanon.
Biography
Murad was born in a Melkite Catholic family in Ras Baalbek.
After finishing high school, he moved to Paris, where he obtained his degree in fashion.[1]
In 1995, Murad opened his third flagship store in Beirut.[2] Two boutiques (including showrooms) had been opened previously, on Charles Helou Avenue in Beirut, and on rue François I in Paris.
He also has a showroom in Milan on the Via Borgogna. In 1999, Murad made his first appearance on the catwalks of Rome with a collection that led to his participation in the Italian calendar.[1]
